Is Witchcraft Real? Does it exist?

I am asked this question a lot in my day-to-day life and the easy answer is yes, because I am a witch and practice it daily.

Its an interesting question though and understandably for those living lives away from blessings, rituals and getting exciting by the Full Moon, it’s a strange unknown thing that is only seen in movies and its only natural that there is a lot of stigma and mistrust around the reality of witchcraft when all you see are witches flying, being supernatural and witches moving objects the strongest person in the world couldn’t.

But is any of it true?

Some of it is, yes, though for many who practice witchcraft it is often a lifestyle of candles, herbs, remedies and rituals, all very harmless and there is some truth with the thoughts of chanting, hugging trees and embracing visions, but there is a serious side and even a darker side too.

Spell work or witchcraft is something to be taken seriously and because it is very real, you want to ensure that you are doing it for the right reasons and that you understand the rules that come with it and its when those rules are broken that you will see examples of sudden and destructive behaviours such as those displayed through film or tv.

There are as many types of witch as there are people, your style of witchcraft is unique to you and many of us will use more than one method dependent on what is needed at the time.

Historically, there are endless records of witches not least the history of the witch hunters and the horrendous and heart-breaking trials the witches were forced to go through.

Today, fortunately many countries do not practice such atrocities, but society and the government are not open to those who practice witchcraft.

Whilst it is something that many laugh at the thought of it being real, it is something that is highly regulated and even banned in many surprising places.

For example, I can only use certain card readers on my website because a number of companies do not allow those selling spells or psychic readings, but they will allow the sales of religious services, weapons, gambling and sex. It just shows you how openly discriminated against we are. Most importantly, it shows you how real we are and how real witchcraft is, as after all, why put such strict rules in place if it doesn’t exist?
